Caring For Your Jewellery

All our jewellery is created using a mix of new and vintage components, semi-precious stones and natural materials.  So please be aware that some pieces may be slightly marked or have an aged appearance - this is part of their charm!  Also due to the nature of one-off pieces some may vary very slightly from the photographs.

Jewellery, especially old jewellery, can be fragile so always try to keep it safe when you are not wearing it.

Avoid contact with perfumes, solvents, hair sprays or chemicals this can cause discolouring and they may lose their sparkle.

Do not shower, bath or sleep in your jewellery if at all possible.  Clean with a soft, dry cloth.

Christmas Posting Dates

UK

The last recommended posting date for standard parcels in time for Christmas within the UK is before midnight on Wed, 14th December 2011. 

International Airmail

For orders going to South and Central America, the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East, Asia,the Far East (including Japan), Australia and New Zealand the last date is Mon, 5th Dec, 2011.

For Eastern Europe, USA and Canada the last date is Fri, 9th Dec, 2011.

For Western Europe the last date is Mon, 12th Dec, 2011.

UK Orders

We offer free delivery within the UK on all items bought on our website. We use a combination of Royal Mail 1st Class Post, and Royal Mail Recorded/Special delivery depending on the value and size of the package, and where it is being sent.

Orders will be processed and shipped within 2 working days of payment. Transit time can vary, particularly during peak periods.

Overseas

If you are placing an order to be sent outside of the UK then an international shipping charge will be added to your order. This charge varies depending on where in the world the order if being sent.

Same Same But Different cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged once dispatched to overseas locations. We are also not responsible for delayed delivery caused by postal delays overseas or other forces beyond our control. Please also note that customers are responsible for international custom and duty fees. These are in addition to, and not included in, the cost of shipping. As a business we are obligated to declare all items as merchandise. We are not able to mark items as "gift".

Packaging

We try our best to use recycled packaging where possible. Each item is wrapped carefully to protect it on its' journey.

Returns

It you are unsatisfied with your purchase we will happily refund you or exchange the item within 10 days of purchase, and once the item has been returned to us. Please note, you will have to pay for the return postage. Return postage fees are non-refundable. Any returns sent with the incorrect postage will not reach us and therefore your refund will not be completed.

Please make sure the item is well packaged, as we cannot be held responsible for breakages on returned items. All returned items must be returned in their original, unused condition with the gift-wrap they were sent out in. Please email us before returning an item. Please address your return to:

On receipt of the returned item we will contact you to confirm your refund via our secure payment system. Your refund will be credited to the same account used to make your original purchase.

Refunds or exchanges are not accepted for any custom-made jewellery.

Damages

Please inspect your purchase as soon as it arrives. If your order is damaged when you receive it please contact us immediately so we can sort this out for you.

Privacy Policy

Your details will never be passed onto a third party. After a transaction your private credit/debit card information will not be stored.

By using the site you consent to our privacy policy.

Payment

We either use Sagepay or Paypal to process your card payment these are secure online payment websites that allow you to complete your purchase easily, without revealing your credit/debit card information to us. Your card information is not stored after your payment has been processed.

Mailing List/Newsletter

If you choose to sign up to our mailing list the email address you provide may be used to send you periodic emails containing updates, company news, promotions, related products or service information etc.

Any other personal information given to us is only to be used for the services requested, such as processing an order and shipping your package to your address.
